On November 10 and 11, 2024, the congress organised by the Latin American Federation of Banks (FELABAN), in conjunction with the Asociación Bancaria de Panamá, took place at the Sheraton Grand Hotel in Panama City. Over 270 individuals from the Latin American banking sector attended, including regulators and supervisors. Pablo Sanz Bañyon, Professor of Commercial Law at the Pontifical University of Comillas (ICAI-ICADE) and collaborator at LegalCripto, delivered a lecture on the Challenges of Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDCs).
