Next Friday, November 24, Carmen Pastor Sempere, lead researcher at LegalCripto, will participate in the Innovation Tasting organized by Fundeun and the L’Eliana City Council offering her expert opinion on the legal perspective of implementing a local digital economic system to improve municipal management for the benefit of citizens. Also attending the event will be Clara Cañero Lois, postdoctoral researcher, and Cristian Vera Arenas, technician, who will participate in the Innovation Tasting organized by Fundeun and the L’Eliana City Council.
The Activation Program for Public Procurement of Innovation in the Valencian Community is an action that will be carried out with the City Council of l’Eliana to promote a digital economic system of a local nature that allows improving the management of municipal payments and campaigns for the economic revitalization of local commerce. The objective of the Innovation Tasting is to promote open innovation processes through the public procurement instrument, taking into account innovation criteria in the awarding of contracts.
The aim is to place the Valencian Community, within the European context, as a territory sensitive to the benefits that Public Procurement of Innovation (PPI) brings to citizens, qualified employment, innovative companies and efficient Public Administration; Likewise, reinforcing the role of the Valencian Innovation Agency (AVI), as a promoter of technological and business innovation to solve the challenges related to the promotion of a local digital economic system for the improvement of municipal management for the benefit of the citizen in the territorial area of the City Council of l’Eliana.
