We will attend the POWERCOOP Internacional Seminar “Self-consumption energy communities: Organizational analysis from the legal management and technological perspective”, which will take place at the University of Coimbra on 24 and 25 January 2024,ย organised byย Mยช Josรฉ Vaรฑรณ Vaรฑรณ, Director of the University Institute of Social Economy, Cooperativism and Entrepreneurship (IUDESCOOP), Lead Researcher of the project TED2021-129787B-I00, funded by CIN/AEI/10.13039/501100011033 and by the European Union “NextGenerationEU”/PRTR, called “Comunidades de autoconsumo clave en la transiciรณn energรฉtica [POWERCOOP]” and researcher at LegalCripto.

Carmen Pastor Sempere, Lead Researcher at LegalCripto by BAES (Prometeo 2023 CIPROM/2022/26) will participate in the Scientific Commission and will chair the Fifth Plenary Session, entitled ‘Democratisation, decentralisation and digitalisation in the energy transition’ on 25 January. Carmen Pastor Sempere will also participate as a speaker together with Cristian Javier Vera Arenas, Telecommunications Engineer, Developer at BlockchainFUE. Coop.V and researcher at Baes BlockchainLab, with the paper “SolarCell 1.0: impulso a la colaboraciรณn pรบblico-privada y democratizaciรณn en la transiciรณn energรฉrtica a travรฉs de la integraciรณn del IOT y el blockchain“, and Clara Isabel Caรฑero Lois, postdoctoral researcher at LegalCripto by BAES, will participate as a speaker with the paper “El token kilowatio como unidad de intercambio en las comunidades locales”; both papers will be presented at the Second Forum on 25 January.
